This captivating film is a true love story, adapted from the short story Eisenheim the Illusionist, written by Steven Millhauser. The movie follows the struggle of Eisenheim, a turn of the century magician, played by Edward Norton, who falls in love with Sophie von Teschen, an upper-class woman played by Jessica Biel. Eisenheim must use his magical talents to free Sophie from her engagement to Crown Prince Leopold, played by Rufus Sewell, who tries to discredit Eisenheim’s magical talents. Director Neil Burger and Cinematographer Dick Pope used Cooke S4 Primes to capture the film’s detailed and mystical beauty and make Eisenheim’s illusions come to life.

Nominated in the Achievement in Directing category, United 93 employed Cooke S4 Primes in its bold portrayal of the events that occurred on United Flight 93 during the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
